Palworld Server Guidelines

KNIGHTS Gaming Group Server Guidelines

These rules are intended to reduce server RAM usage, help prevent crash loops, and keep shared content accessible to all players. Solo players are considered a guild for all building size, height, and allotment rules.

Server Building Restrictions

  1. No blocking of content in the game. Building in points of interest (POIs), or within the surrounding POI area, is not allowed.
  2. Players may not abuse the claim system by placing building blocks or other structures for the sole purpose of preventing other players from accessing resources or potential building locations.
  3. Players may not build within the render range of another player’s build. All bases must be at least 40 building blocks apart unless the players are members of the same team.
  4. Massive construction or excessive use of memory-intensive building items is not allowed. Builds may not exceed 10 walls in height or 50 x 50 foundations.
note: Oversized construction can cause performance loss for both clients and the server. It may also create a memory leak that repeatedly crashes the server until the build is removed.
  5. All building rules apply to both solo players and multiplayer guilds. Solo players follow the same size, height, and allotment limits as a guild.
note: Personal homes belonging to members of a multiplayer guild must be built within one of the guild’s Palbox sites.
  6. Building Specifics Allowed:
    • Two Main Palbox Sites: Two main Palbox sites are allowed for breeding or production. Each site may be no larger than 40L x 40W x 10H.
    • One Mining Outpost: One auto-mining outpost is allowed. The building may be no larger than 10 x 10 x 3 and may contain storage, Pal beds, and food for Pals.
    • The mining operation may encompass no more than four to six resource nodes.
    • Ore collected at the mining outpost must be taken home to smelt.
    • Do not encompass mixed-resource node fields, such as ore and coal or coal and sulfur.

Blocking Content / Hoarding

Please remember that other players share the server with you. Reserving a reasonable location for your base is allowed, but restricting other players’ access to shared content is not.

This includes using building items to gain an unfair advantage when claiming loot crates, artifacts, or other shared world content. Players who wish to control the entire map, its resources, or its enemies should consider playing in single-player mode.

  1. Blocking shared content in the game, including caves, dungeons, boss areas, and other locations players must be able to access, is not allowed.
  2. Do not enclose known loot chest spawns or Fast Travel Statues within a fence. A clear passage must always be left to known loot chest locations and Fast Travel Statues.
  3. Do not enclose more than four rare-resource nodes. A Palbox and storage box may be placed near rare resources, but Pals may not actively work those nodes without player supervision.
  4. Do not camp dungeons or other group-hunt instances. Guild members may queue and wait for smaller one- or two-player instances instead of monopolizing shared encounters.
  5. Do not hoard resources. A single storage box of each resource is enough for a large guild. Plan gathering and storage accordingly.
  6. Pals that are unused or no longer needed should be converted into essences, sold to a Trader NPC, or gifted to newer players.
⚠️Guild Asset Decay Timer: 30 DAYS by default ⚠️
Players are required to be on the server and render bases fully within that time to maintain server presence. The cleanup process is automatic.

Staff reserves the right to:

  • Remove any structure, pal, or item at any time if it is deemed to impact server performance, player gameplay, or balance.
  • Block any area to keep it clear of structures being placed.
Admins will NOT replace items or pals.
